Fire Alarm Systems

Fire Alarm

Fire alarm system is designed to help in identifying fire, heat or smoke and to alert immediately the building's occupants for evacuation. There are two types of fire alarm systems, conventional fire alarm system and addressable fire alarm system.

We design and install fire alarm systems as per NFPA and Indian standards, these alarms may be activated automatically from smoke detectors, and heat detectors or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations.

The control panel is the “brain” of the fire detection and alarm system. It is responsible for monitoring the various “input” devices such as manual call point (MCP) and automatic detection components like heat detectors, smoke detectors, and then activating alarm “output” devices such as horns, bells, warning lights, emergency telephone dialers, and building controls. Control panels may range from simple units with a single input and output zone, to complex computer-driven systems that monitor several buildings over an entire plant.

Conventional Fire Alarm System

The conventional fire alarm system can be divided into multiple zones, this product is available from 2-zone to 32-zone, which uses conventional input devices. The panel accepts two-wire smoke detectors, pull stations and other normally open contact devices. Outputs include four Notification Appliance Circuits.

Addressable Fire Alarm Systems

The addressable fire alarm system includes smoke detector, heat detector, MCP, hooter and other devices are given an individual address name which is identified by the fire alarm panel. This helps in recognizing the exact location of fire even in a multi-stored building. Hence reducing the time required to locate the fire.

Aspirating Smoke Detection System

An Aspirating smoke detector (ASD) is a system used in active fire protection, consisting of a central detection unit which draws air through a network of pipes to detect smoke. The sampling chamber is based on a nephelometer that detects the presence of smoke particles suspended in air by detecting the light scattered by them in the chamber. ASDs can typically detect smoke before it is visible to the naked eye. In most cases aspirating smoke detectors require a fan unit to draw in a sample of air from the protected area through its network of pipes, such as is the case for Wagner, Safe Fire Detection's proseries and xtrails ASD system
